Burdett FC Youth supports young people in the Burdett Estate and wider Tower Hamlets through sports, creative activities, mentoring and personal development programmes. We provide a safe, positive space where young people can build confidence, learn new skills, and make their voices heard. Whether it’s through football, workshops, or youth-led projects, we help our young people grow, lead, and reach their full potential on and off the pitch. An Opportunity for the Youth.

Our U21s team is more than just a youth football team, it's a pathway for young people to stay active, focused, and off the streets. We use sport as a tool to tackle anti-social behaviour, build discipline and guide young players toward positive futures. Through training, teamwork, and mentoring, we help develop real-world skills like leadership, responsibility and resilience preparing them for life on and off the pitch.

The Burdett U21s Youth Team was established three years ago to create a positive pathway for young people through football. Since joining the Sunday League, the team has grown in strength and impact not just on the pitch, but in the lives of the players.

Over the years, many of our young players have successfully progressed into senior football, with some now competing at higher levels. The team has become a vital stepping stone, helping youth develop their talent, stay committed to sport, and build the discipline and life skills needed to succeed beyond football.
